INSPECTION OF COMPOSITE PARTS BOEING 787

With these works, Engitech carried out the manufacturing control of the composite parts in conditioned environments relating to the Boeing 787 Program at the Alenia Aermacchi factories in Foggia.

In particular, the control activities provided for the conditioned rooms (Clean Room):

• Check Environmental Conditions (Temperature, Humidity, Pressure) and related records
• Clean Room cleanliness check and FOD prevencion
• Periodic verification of maintenance of the Clean room  class according to the process specification applicable to the program
• Execute specific Product / Process Control plans with defined Control Plans by Alenia Aermacchi
• Carry out checks in accordance with the work cycles
• Compile / endorse defect list
• Perform the assessment of the aging of materials at expiration (prepegs and adhesives) and related registrations
• Carry out work cycle records for test
