ASSEMBLY OF AIRBUS A321 PNELS

The activity carried out by Engitech at the assembly area of the Alenia Aermacchi plant in Nola, consists, of a manual and automatic assembly operations followed for an initial Nr.5 Panel and final construction of Nr. 4 Super Panels composed of the Nr.5 initials (Crown assy, ​​Rear Assy l / h-r / h, Bottom assy l / h - r / h) + Nr. 2 (Surround assy l / h-r / h).

The supply also included a series of subgroups necessary for the realization of the aforementioned Super Panels.

The manual assembly operations performed refer to both the primary structure: (assembly of shear clips, joint stringers, joint cleats, doublers, frames etc.) and to the secondary structure: (assembly of brackets. STD of systems etc.).

An assembly step was performed with the RECOULES automatic riveting machine.

ENGITECH has created Nr. 4 Super Panels as follows:

• Nr. 1 Crown Panel Assy.
• Nr. 1 Side Panel Assy R / H (Composed of nr. 1 Rear assy panel + nr. 1 assy panel Surround from external supply).
• Nr. 1 Side Panel Assy L / H (Composed of nr. 1 Rear assy panel + nr. 1 Surround assy panel
• Nr. 1 Bottom Panel Assy (Consisting of nr. 1 Bottom assy panel l / h and nr. 1 Panel Bottom assy r / h)
