INTEGRATION CNC MACHINE MECHANICAL CELL

ENGITECH has designed the Integration of the CNC Machines GANTRY, SAIMP, GRAMIC and DROOP & RAIN with the Mechanical Cell Production Management System at the Alenia plant in Nola.

A Technological Upgrade (hardware & software) has been created with an on board machine installation of Local Controllers (CL) based on Touchscreen Industrial PCs and integrated with the Acramatic and SIEMENS CNCs.

The SIDEM software has been installed on the Local Controllers (CL) connected to the CNC through a serial line and to the Plant Shop Floor through a wireless connection: this allows the processes management in three different modes:

• Integrated (with Shop Floor Control and data access to company servers) 
• Degraded (with operator data entry and access to company servers)
• Manual (with manual data entry and local access to data).
