MACHINE CMM INTEGRATION

ENGITECH has developed a New System for Dimensional Control of Mechanical Parts and Integration with the Mechanical Floor Shop of the Alenia plant in Nola with:

• Integration of CMM machines with the Shop Floor through SIDEM system
• Planning, Execution and Management of Dimensional Controls
• Integration with CATIA V5 process (CAD models and tolerances)
• Use of results (Measurements database, Report, SPC)

The objective of Integrating the Metrology Section (CMM machines) into the Shop Floor Control with the introduction of the following features has been achieved:

• Engineering of metrological control procedures
• Off-Line and On-Line programming of dimensional testing programs
• Introduction of a technological execution of operations database
• Creation of a Cell Metrology Controller
• Integration of Local Controllers in the measurement stations
• Upgrade of CMM machine management software
